Plated jewelry may wear after continually washing hands or using hand sanitizing products. Other factors that contribute to wear and color changes include, but are not limited to, lotions, cosmetics and perfumes. We suggest removing jewelry prior to application of such products.
Humidity may also affect metals. Therefore, it is important that jewelry is stored properly when not worn. To prevent tarnishing and limit scratching, store your piece by wrapping in a soft cloth, a closed jewelry box or a Ziploc bag.
A mild cleaner or polishing cloth may be used to restore jewelry. Polishing clothes should be used for light polishing to avoid scratching.
